The horror genre lost another good one today as it was reported that film producer Jack H. Harris had passed away at the age of 98. Mr. Harris had produced such films as the 1958 cult classic The Blob and the 1978 Faye Dunaway movie The Eyes of Laura Mars. Mr. Harris produced the sequel to The Blob – Beware! The Blob – and also produced the 1988 remake of The Blob starring Kevin Dillon.
Mr. Harris received his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2014.
RIP Mr. Harris. Thank you for your contribution to the genre.
