One of the most brutal films I have ever seen is Wes Craven’s The Hills Have Eyes from 1977. It’s his sophomore effort (minus the porno he wrote and directed, The Fireworks Woman) after The Last House On the Left. Both are horribly disturbing visions of scum of the earth. And both are required viewings for horror fans. But on this day of slash, we’re not watching Wes Craven’s original film, rather we’re watching Alexandre Aja’s take on the story of a vacationing family being terrorized by deformed hill people. I haven’t seen this one since it came out in 2006, so I’ve been very much looking forward to today. With that said… here are three minimalist posters for The Hills Have Eyes.
